Ballingry

Ballingry is a small village, close to the Perth and Kinross border and north of Lochore. It is one of Fife's 'Regeneration areas' which is classed as in need of regeneration economically and socially. It currently has a large primary school, Benarty Primary School (Formally Ballingry Junior High School) as well as a smaller Roman Catholic primary school, St Kenneth's. Ballingry is also home to amateur football club 'Benarty' [Benarty Amateur Football Club].

Benarty Amateur Football Club

Benarty Amateur Football Club was formed in 2004 and compete in the Fife Premier League.

The club's home ground is situated at the Dallas Doyle Memorial Park in Ballingry (next to the cemetery). They spent the first two years in the Sunday Amateur League before moving to the Fife Saturday Amateur League for season 2007/08. After winning division two, Benarty was promoted the following year to the Fife Premier League where they competed in the 2009/10 season. This was to be Benarty AFC's final season and the club ceased to exist and folded in July 2010
