    There has been a lot of work done to the website lately and the new look DiscoverBenarty is here. There is some new content and more will be added soon. There will be a few more changes happening over the next week or so but won't affect your browsing experience. Hope you like the new look and thank you for your support.

    Happy New Year and All The Best for 2011. A new year, a new challenge. Hopefully this year (the site) will be as popular as it was in 2010 and thanks to the feedback recieved from previous visitors, there are a few changes planned for the future. So watch this space!

    This appears to be one of the worst winters seen in years and is causing havoc everywhere. The only good thing to come out of it is the opportunity for a good photo. Taken any good ones lately - Send them in now for all to see. Look out for new photo uploads during the Month of December.

    Been working on new code for an internal guestbook which has now been completed. The new guestbook has now replaced the external one previously used. Hope you like it.

    Re-designed the menu system (Tested on Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 3 and Google Chrome) any problems, please let me know. Added new page titles throughout the site and performed some general maintenance.

    Been working on the genaral upkeep and tidying up of the website. Added a test video to the Video Gallery section (Flash Required) in order to test the server.

    The booklet that was produced when Ballingry Junior High School closed is available for viewing. To view this PDF file, Adobe Reader is required. A big thank you has to go out to Mary and Ellen Baillie for this sought after item. Thank You.

    Added a few new photos to the schools section and update a few new names. Managed to get names for all the Teachers in the Ballingry Junior High section. Tweaked the navigation menu around a bit and uploaded a few photos to the Image Viewer. Also in the process of updating the links section and will be adding more links soon.

    Well, another week, and another few photos have been added! The site is definitely getting bigger. This is thanks to you!! Keep the photos coming!! There seems to be a little bit confusion on how to submit a photo... Well, here it is... Email your information/photos along with any details to enquiries@discoverbenarty.co.uk and try and make sure it is no less than 1024x768 pixels if possible (This is so the image can be cleaned up if needed), thank you.

    25 years ago, the foundations of Lochgelly High School were being laid. The School took two years to build and was finally opened in 1987 just after the closure of Ballingry Junior High School and Auchterderran High School.
